The Manistique River
The river meanders through the SENEY Wildlife Refuge.  This portion of the river stretches an incredible 11 miles.  This is one of the most relaxing and fulfilling ways to view the wildlife and majestic scenery of the refuge.  You can encounter:  moose, deer, swans, turtles, ducks, bald eagles, muskrats, along with a host of other inhabitants.

"Spacious sites compared to state campground. The owners where very nice and accommodating! Camping in a tent was a wonderful experience here. Bathrooms were always spotless and the mosquitoes were not bad considering the location. Also have kayak and canoe rentals with choice between 2 and 4 hour route. We did the 4 hour through the Seney Wildlife Refuge and couldn't have been happier. Definitely pack 40% DEET bug spray though. Only 10 minutes from Seney Wildlife Refuge as well (for a visit by land)." — Hanna B. 5/5 Google

"I stayed up there under the new ownership.  The campground was extremely clean and owners were super nice prices are super Fair. They rent kayaks and it is right on the river. There's also a lot of small lakes and and places to fish. I ended up having a little bit of car trouble. Let me tell you these people went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely go back no questions." — Clayton S. 5/5 Google
